New Royal Crown Tzar

Tzar is a woody, spicy, aromatic scent created for Men and Women in 2018 by perfumer Antonio Visconti.

Review

This scent is oriental elegance. An infusion of spices, citrus, flowers and woods intoxicates the senses, and readies you for anything your evening brings your way. It can be worn in an office setting, if applied sparingly, but is much better suited for any occasion outside the office. Easily dressed up or down, you will feel a boost of confidence and take on a regal elegance. It will work well in most seasons and weather, and will last forever. It is comparable to Xerjoff Opera, and shares a faint similarity to Amouage’s Beach Hut Man.

Inspiration

Tzar is a scent inspired by the sumptuous evenings in the royal court of the Tzar of Russia. Cold evenings warmed with Vodka and dancing. Perfumed ladies, the deep laughter of the men, and everyone clad in their fur-lined Leather coats and stoles to brace against the evening chill.

Notes

Nutmeg and Red Pepper are infused with a burst of Bergamot and Grapefruit that energizes the senses. A note of Vodka spikes a floral bouquet of Magnolia, Lily of the Valley, Jasmine, and Turkish Rose. Leather entwines itself within grassy Vetiver, creating a unique depth, as a note of Vanilla Absolute sets in, adding the faintest touch of sweetness.  A woody blend of Cedarwood and Sandalwood comes in at the end, adding an earthy element that keeps this scent lasting.
