New Lalique White in Black

White in Black is an aromatic, spicy, Vanilla scent created for Men in 2021 by perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni. 

Review

This scent is classy, smooth, and elegant without being in the realm of overly mature fragrances. Citrus and spice blend into Vanilla, Lavender, and Amber for a velvety scent that can easily be dressed up or down. It will work great in an office setting just as easily as it can be worn for a day out with friends, or on date night. It has a soft side to it, but will last you. It is a scent that will work in all seasons. It is comparable to Parfums de Marly Layton.

Inspiration

White in Black is a scent that pushes the boundaries of what a scent for Men can be. It dares you to step outside your ‘normal’. It embraces the idea that not everything is simply black and white. You have the power to change your day….you get to write your story.

Notes

Grapefruit invigorates the senses and brightens a blend of smoky Incense and earthy Lavender. A note of Vanilla goes against the grain, intriguing the senses. A note of crisp White Cedarwood adds a refreshing earthy element, blending well with Patchouli in the base. Creamy Ambroxan adds warmth and depth, while Pink Peppercorn adds a delicate touch of spice which helps to temper the sweeter essences.
