This scent is earthy and aromatic. It has a subtle spice, a subtle grassiness, a subtle Leathery quality, a subtle Amber vibe, a subtle woodiness…. If you didn’t know this was an Oud scent, you might not guess it was there. Everything takes its turn quietly, blending perfectly together. It has a certain dark smoothness to it while also being bright. It leans slightly masculine in style, but is definitely something anyone can wear. It has a casual elegance to it. It can easily be worn in an office setting, but feels perfect for date night, a wedding, a cocktail party, or any occasion where you want to feel good but not stand out too much. This subtlety makes it mellow on the skin, but lasting. Someone across the room might not smell you, but those in your immediate vicinity will be loving it. It definitely has an appealing essence that feels playful and inviting, with a sensual twist. It has been compared to Tom Ford’s Ombre Nomad.

Inspiration

Oud Nebula is inspired by the Nebula, a cosmic formation that is essentially a dust cloud, but holds the power to create new stars. Images of Nebulas are beautiful, luminescent, colorful, and mysterious. Oud Nebula plays with the idea of transformation, and celebrates the potential within each of us.

Notes

Bulgarian Rose and Saffron open this scent with a delicate dance that is bright and aromatic, never being too floral or spicy. Laurel adds a slight grassy essence that adds a gentle earthiness. Leather kicks up the spice a bit, bringing its familiar essence. Sandalwood and Amber add a gentle creamy quality that helps the Tonka Bean to thrive without being too sweet. Cedar adds a bright woodiness, toning down any harshness you might expect from the Oud. Everything blends perfectly and effortlessly.
