Review

This fragrance starts off bright and citrusy with Grapefruit, Neroli, and Bergamot. It quickly mellows into an earthy and aromatic calmness with Clove Bud, Vetiver, and Moss. Ylang Ylang stands out from a floral bouquet, adding a gentle, creamy quality, without taking away from the gentle tang that can still be felt from the citruses. It feels like walking through a forest that’s alive with the breeze and the sunshine, or like you’re walking around a garden on a hot summer day. It is slightly muted but has a well-rounded quality that will make it last. It has a casual, adventurous, vibe to it that makes it perfect for days out exploring and having fun. It has a similar essence to Cedro di Diamante from Perris Monte Carlo, but with an earthier vibe.

Whirlwind’s bottle is adorned with the Fox, a symbol of transformation. The scent was created for those who want to leave a mark of sophistication and elegance wherever they go, and embodies the dynamic spirit of nature’s forces.

Notes

This scent is immediately refreshing and crisp with the tangy blend of Grapefruit, Neroli, and Bergamot. Blackcurrant adds a gentle touch of sweetness as a floral bouquet opens, releasing Cyclamen, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine and Freesia. The Ylang Ylang adds a gentle creamy touch to the earthy blend of Clove Bud, Vetiver, and Crystal Moss. Amber adds a smooth warmth, and Tonka Bean a muted sweetness. Throughout the dry down, the citruses can be felt brightening each layer, even as they begin to fade to make way for the other notes.
