Lineage is a mineral/aquatic/spicy scent created for Men and Women in 2023 by perfumer Karine Vinchon-Spehner.

Review

This scent is aquatic and minerallac. It breathes ocean into the senses, reminding one of salty summer days, sun-kissed skin, and warm sunsets. It can be worn to the office, but is much better suited for casual affairs. It can be worn while running errands, on a lunch date, lounging around the house, and can be dressed up for semi-formal evening events. It will work well in all seasons, and will last for hours. It shares similarities with Wet Stone from Amouroud, and has been compared to Armani Prive Bleu Turquoise by Giorgio Armani.

Inspiration

The Sea calls to all of us at some time or another. It brings a sense of peace, calming our chaos. Lineage marks one piece of our puzzle on our journeys of self discovery.

Notes

This scent begins with spices of Sichuan Pepper and Schinus Molle(Peppercorn) that are brightened with fresh Ginger. Resinous essences of Frankincense and Myrrh are blended with the herbal tone of Fenugreek, creating a gentle earthy quality. In the base, Frankincense and Myrrh Resinoids take this scent even deeper as they blend with Leathery Labdanum. Earthy Patchouli blends with the bright grassy quality of Vetiver and the sweetness of Benzoin. The end result is a bright resinous scent that will bring pleasure to the senses.
