Oud Imperial Extrait is a woody, spicy, Oud scent created for Men and Women in 2015 by perfumer Luca Maffei.

Review

This scent feels softer, smokier, and more refined than the Eau de Parfum version. There is a sense of peace and maturity here, and you will find yourself feeling confident and regal. It can be worn in an office setting if sprayed sparingly, and works well in colder weather settings, especially so if formal. It has been compared to Oud 777 by Stephane Humbert Lucas. 

Inspiration

A more concentrated version of its Eau de Parfum counterpart. Middle Eastern Oud deepens the richness and adds a new layer of luxury and sophistication, capturing the senses entirely.

Notes

This is the Oud of all Oud scents. It commands respect and reveals itself as such. It infuses itself within all layers of this scent, while letting the spicier nuances shine brightly. In the beginning, Cumin, Saffron, and Papyrus are softened with Jasmine. Middle Eastern Oud adds a deeper, more opulent layer, accompanied by creamy Sandalwood and Leathery Labdanum. A crisp woody base is comprised of Cedarwood, Vetiver, and Birch, which raise the spice notes and keep everything lasting.
