Siberian Rose is a sweet, warm, floral scent created for Men and Women in 2020 by perfumer Shadi Samra. 

Review

This is an interesting Rose fragrance. At first you get hints of the Pear and Spices, then hints of the Tuberose, all alongside the familiar essence of the Rose. The Leather note adds a nice depth with Moss just under the surface. After it’s dried down for a while, you get a hint of the Ylang Ylang as things become a little sweeter. All of these notes blend together seamlessly, all kind of shining at the same time. With one sniff you get Rose and Pear, in another sniff you get Rose and Leather, in yet another sniff, you get Rose and Pear and Tuberose. It’s a delicate, yet rich, spicy Rose with faint sweet touches of Pear and Ylang Ylang. It’s beautiful and intoxicating, yet playful and inviting all at once. It’s a great scent for any time, place, or occasion and will work well in any weather. It can be worn to the office, and easily dressed up or down. It has an intimate feel to it, but will last. It does have a bit of a feminine lean to it, but can easily be worn by anyone. It has been compared to Tubereuse Imperiale from BDK Parfums, but with more warmth and depth. 

Inspiration

Siberian Rose takes inspiration from the white snowy winters in the wilds of Siberia. It’s a captivating, aromatic journey of mystery and elegance.

Notes

Rose can be felt immediately, and lies under the surface of every other aroma in this scent. Pear adds a sweetness that has a nice spicy pop from the Pink Pepper and Cinnamon. Juniper is felt faintly for a moment before fading. The Tuberose is gentle and simmers under the Rose, making the Pear linger nicely. The Leather adds a nice flair of spice and depth, blending well with the gentle earthy sharpness of the Patchouli. Moss adds its familiar muted earthy essence, and Amber wraps things up with a gently sweet and smooth essence. Ylang Ylang can be felt much later, lifting the sweetness of the composition. In the end it becomes a Rose, Tuberose, Pear, and Leather scent. It’s simply beautiful.
